Citizens Committee for NYC helps volunteers in low income neighborhoods fight poverty and crime with financial support and training. Farmers markets, after-school programs, environmental clean-ups and programs for recent immigrants make New York City's neighborhoods better places to live, work and play.

As Director of Communications and then consultant, Sonia Estreich developed marketing, branding and public relations strategies for the organization. She managed all print and online donor-directed publications, handled all press and media relationships and directed the program for its annual fundraising gala.
