Long Island Weddings Expert Launches Q&A Web Site for Local Brides-To-Be

Stretch Ink LLC designs and develops site

(Northport, N.Y.) – Bridal expert Claudia Copquin has launched www.GettingMarriedonLongIsland.com, a FREE Web service for Long Island brides-to-be. Copquin is the former managing editor of Newsday’s Long Island Weddings, a frequent contributor to Newsday’s Bridal Planner, and an award-winning journalist and author.

Planning a wedding is a daunting task.  That’s why professional wedding consultants, while costly, can come in handy.  But brides planning weddings on their own, either for the first or second time around, have myriad questions. Finding the answers can be time-consuming and stressful.  By visiting GettingMarriedonLongIsland.com, brides just fill out a quick form with a specific wedding planning question, and bridal authority Claudia Copquin promptly sends them the response via email.

“I’ve researched, written and edited hundreds of articles about getting married on Long Island.   So over the years I’ve really come to know this market inside out, becoming an expert on so many wedding issues –- etiquette, catering and reception sites, jewelers, florists, bakeries, registries…I have all of those local resources and information at my fingertips,” Copquin says, adding, “Of course, while some things never go out of style, often the wedding industry enjoys new trends.  So I’m always tracking those, as well.”

What is unique about GettingMarriedonLongIsland.com is not only that Copquin is available daily for brides’ questions, but that she is putting a face to an industry that is pretty much anonymous.  “There are numerous bridal magazines and Websites out there, all of them offering a wealth of information for brides, and that’s fabulous, but what’s missing is the personal touch,” she states.

“When brides click on Ask Claudia to submit a question on my website, they know they’re getting an answer from me — a real, live Long Islander who knows the market, who understands their concerns and who responds quickly to their questions,” Copquin explains.

Brides can expect a clutter-free environment at GettingMarriedonLongIsland.com.   “The site is devoted to answering questions from brides.  That’s pretty much it,” Copquin explains.  The emails sent to brides feature a number of questions and answers, so everyone who posts a query benefits from each other.

GettingMarriedonLongIsland.com owned by Left to Write Content, L.L.C., is based in Northport, NY.  For more information and to advertise, contact Info@GettingMarriedonLongIsland.com or call 631-754-6363.
