"The Web sites would never have gone up without you.  Thank you once again, from Ed, Mel and the rest of us!"

Edward E. Klein, Esq.
Klein & Solomon, LLP

"The Klein & Solomon brochure is not only one of the most professional firm brochures I have ever seen, but it is tremendously informative and an excellent piece of work.  You should rightfully be proud not only of your brochure but of the accomplishments it discusses."

"All great edits which improved everything tremendously.  I'm so glad you are on board, helping me!!!!"
Claudia Gryvatz Copquin, founder GettingMarriedonLongIsland.com, regarding public relations materials

“I worked under Sonia Estreich's direction on a multi-year book project which required extensive research, writing and editing. She is a tireless leader who gives 100% of herself. Her professionalism, intelligence, sense of humor and unrelenting attention to detail were wholly inspiring. I am thrilled to continue working with her on publicity for the book, and have hired her to advance my career and promote my work.”

Claudia Gryvatz Copquin, award-winning freelance journalist and author of "The Neighborhoods of Queens" (Yale University Press 2007).

"Congratulations on the very handsome book. The amount of work you did to make this work was impressive. The photographs came out perfectly. Of course The Neighborhoods of Queens is going to be the best one of all the boroughs!"

"P'tach, a nonprofit serving children with learning disabilities, hired Sonia to manage and write our annual newsletter. The response was terrific. I have nothing but praise for her writing and the creative and efficient way she handled the project. She really captured the essence of our work and the aspirations of the children we serve."

success stories

Klein & Solomon, LLP

WHO:

Klein & Solomon is a boutique commercial real estate firm in New York City representing prime commercial properties in midtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Queens.  The firm’s senior attorneys specialize in real estate transactions and litigation, commercial landlord-tenant proceedings and leasing, while offering a full range of legal services in corporate, business and bankruptcy law.

THE CHALLENGE:

After completing a branding campaign a few years ago, this small firm with six lawyers and two legal staff was way too busy to deal with creating a Web site.  They didn’t know where to begin and had no time to research designers, writers, editors, etc.

THE SOLUTION:

Stretch Ink took over the project from start to finish, with an informed approval process throughout.  An Argentine Web developer provided cutting edge, sophisticated design and custom, easy-to-use administration tools at an affordable price.  Stretch Ink provided new copy, photography and edited K&S’s written material to create a beautiful online presence.  Stretch Ink designed the page layout, uploaded all text and information and optimized search engine results, providing K&S with a ready-to-launch site.  The finishing touch: training for in-house staff.

THE RESULTS:

http://www.kleinsolomon.com.  Klein & Solomon reached out to its clients and colleagues via email and snail mail, publicizing its new site. The response was overwhelming. K&S’s managing partner regularly adds information and commentary to the site, and the firm’s paralegals assigned to manage the site are thrilled with its ease of use.

P’tach

WHO:

P’tach serves children with learning disabilities in New York’s Orthodox Jewish communities. In-school programs provide early intervention and a child-centered education. Teachers in Yeshivas in Brooklyn, Queens and Rockland County are trained to recognize and manage differences in child development. Training is year-round at the nonprofit organization’s National Education Resource Center.

THE CHALLENGE:

The challenge, as usual for every nonprofit, is creating an emotional connection with donors. There are lots of worthy charities. Why give to this one?

THE SOLUTION:

P’tach has been mailing a newsletter to potential donors for years with mixed results.  This year P’tach resolved to touch the heart in a new way.  The newsletter focused on personal stories and compelling images that clearly communicated the role the nonprofit played in creating happy and productive lives for young learners.  The same focus was brought to the organization’s New Year’s appeal, which immediately followed the newsletter.

THE RESULTS:

The newsletter and holiday appeal brought in much needed program funds. In addition, while name recognition was high, the newsletter created greater awareness in the community of P’tach’s success with learning disabled students. Educators from as far as Dallas, Texas, have come to train at P’tach with the goal of copying the model in their own communities.
